Frameworks and obligations we map to
Findings are tagged to the obligation they implicate so the paperwork writes itself.
- ABA Model Rules 1.1, 1.4, 1.6 and Formal Opinions 477R and 483
- FTC Safeguards Rule (for firms handling covered financial data)
- SEC Regulation S-P for firms advising registered entities
- State breach-notification statutes and outside counsel guidelines (OCGs)
Cyber-insurance questionnaires
Carrier applications ask a narrow set of questions — MFA coverage, backup testing, EDR deployment, email authentication, incident-response planning, vulnerability management cadence. We produce the evidence for each, in the carrier's language, and flag the gaps that would void a claim before you attest to them.
Client security reviews
Corporate clients increasingly audit outside counsel. We prepare a standing response pack — architecture summary, testing cadence, subprocessor list, incident-response plan, WISP — so a security review stops being a two-week fire drill.
Frequently asked questions
Will this lower our cyber-insurance premium?
Carriers price on documented controls. Firms that can evidence MFA coverage, tested backups, email authentication, and a vulnerability-management cadence generally present better at renewal than firms that cannot. We provide the evidence; pricing decisions remain with your carrier and broker.
Do you write the WISP for us?
Yes. We produce a firm-specific written information security program and keep it current as your systems and vendors change.
